Abstract: This article introduces the significance of packaging for the implementation of Unique Device Identification System (UDI system) and some key terms associated with it. It is further supported by analyzing the important role it plays in building a successful UDI system. This article provides a reference for the related stakeholders to meet the requirement and implement UDI system.
