MAR算法在CT模拟机金属伪影去除中的实验研究

      Experimental Study of MAR Algorithm in Metal Artifact Removal of CT Simulator

      • 摘要: 目的 探讨MAR算法在CT模拟机金属伪影去除中的应用价值。方法 采用实验扫描带有钛板的CT模体,分别使用常规算法和MAR算法对模体进行扫描。使用伪影指数(AI)、对比噪声比(CNR)和各层面AI值变化情况等客观指标对伪影图像进行统计分析。结果 在伪影指数指标中,MAR算法(10.28±2.60)明显低于常规算法(20.65±5.04);在对比噪声比指标中,MAR算法(7.81±1.12)优于常规算法(5.61±1.36);上述指标在两种算法中均有统计学意义(P<0.01)。受伪影影响的层面中,MAR算法使用前后AI指数下降21.72%~88.40%。结论 MAR算法可以明显减少CT模拟机扫描的金属伪影,同时明显提高CT数据的临床价值。

         

        Abstract: Objective To explore the application value of MAR algorithm in metal artifact removal of CT simulator. Methods CT phantom with titanium plate was scanned using conventional algorithms and MAR algorithms, respectively. Artifact index(AI), contrast-to-noise ratio(CNR) and AI values at different slices were used to analyze the artifact images. Results In artifact index, MAR algorithm (10.28±2.60) is significantly lower than conventional algorithm (20.65±5.04); In contrast-to-noise ratio index, MAR algorithm (7.81±1.12) is better than conventional algorithm (5.61±1.36). The above indicators were statistically significant in both algorithms (P<0.01). In the slices affected by metal artifacts, the artifact index decreased by 21.72%~88.40% after the MAR algorithm. Conclusion MAR algorithm can significantly reduce the metal artifacts and improve the clinical value of CT data.
