喷雾参数对鼻腔内药物颗粒分布影响的数值模拟研究

      Numerical Investigation of Particle Deposition in Human Nasal Cavity for Different Parameters of Spay Device

      • 摘要: 药物是否成功输送至病灶区域是鼻腔喷雾治疗鼻炎等疾病的关键所在,而药物的有效输送与鼻腔喷雾给药系统的设计密切相关。通过对一个健康人的头部进行CT扫描后建立一个三维的鼻腔模型,运用计算流体力学技术对鼻腔内部流场与药物颗粒分布情况进行数值模拟,分析药物颗粒的尺寸与密度、药物的喷射速度等参数与药物在鼻腔内分布之间的关系。结果发现随着药物喷射速度与颗粒密度增大,鼻腔内鼻窦处的药物分布都有先减少后增加的趋势。

         

        Abstract: Whether the drug is successfully transported to the focus area is the key to the treatment of the rhinitis disease. The efficiency of drug delivery is dependent on the design of nasal spray device. A three-dimensional model of nasal cavity was constructed from the head CT image data of a healthy human subject. The deposition of drug particles was simulated numerically by Computational Fluid Dynamics technique. The main variables of the study were the size and density of drug particles, the injecting speed of drugs etc. In conclusion, with the increase of particle intensity and injection speed, the deposition of particles in the affected area trends to increase after first slow decrease.
