Abstract:
As the informatization of the healthcare and medical industry advances, the management of medical consumable costs has become increasingly important in this context. The deep integration of healthcare informatization and intelligence has made intelligent management a key factor in reducing consumable costs. This paper reviews the application of intelligent management in hospital consumables, introducing its application scenarios, technical routes, and cost control effectiveness. It also analyzes existing problems and technical challenges, such as poor technical interoperability, uneven data quality, and low alignment between personnel and systems, in the context of DRG payment reform and volume-based procurement. Additionally, suggestions are put forward for future algorithm optimization, full-process integrated management, and risk management, aiming to help hospitals better achieve refined management of consumables through intelligent means.
